Fixed fees for Private Law Family Services (Divorce, Separation and linked Financial Remedy)

1. Initial interview and written advice £150.00 plus VAT

2. Undefended Divorce for Petitioner £500.00 plus VAT and disbursements

3. Undefended Divorce for Respondent £300.00 plus VAT and disbursements

4. Preparation of straightforward Consent Order where the terms for financial settlement have been agreed at mediation and no further negotiation is required

 £400.00 plus VAT and disbursements

Note:

“Disbursements” may relate to the following additional costs:

(a) Court fee to issue Divorce Petition - £550.00

(b) Court fee to lodge application for Consent Order for financial matters - £50.00

(c) Process server’s fee to effect personal service – approx. £100.00 plus VAT

However, some clients may be exempt from paying some, if not all, of the Court fees by completing an Application for a fee remission.  Further advice can be provided in this regard.

If there are any other issues that need to be resolved relating to children or financial matters then these costs will be discussed at our first meeting.

Non-fixed fee  charges are £180 plus vat for Russell Tolley; £150 plus vat for Chris Gabb; £130 plus vat for Rachel Palmer and £70 plus vat for department assistants. Russell will normally work on the financial remedy side of divorce and separation.
